A Dive into Senses and Beauty

A Recognition of the Values Guiding Our Way of Doing Business
There are awards that recognize not just a result, but a vision.
The Adriano Olivetti National Award is one of them: an accolade that measures not productivity, but a company's ability to be a living part of the community, promoting culture, innovation, social responsibility, and local development.
For M&D Group, receiving this award means seeing the essential recognized: the way we choose to be a company every day.
The Submitted Project: Placetelling as a Language of Culture
We participated in the selection process with the initiative “Valorizing Beauty through Placetelling,” a masterclass for ADSI (Italian Historical Residences) members, held in collaboration with the School of Placetelling at the University of Salento and the European University Centre for Cultural Heritage.
This three-day event featured meetings, training, debates, and workshops dedicated to narrating the local territory, its deepest identity, and the ability to transform memory into value.
Being awarded in the name of Adriano Olivetti means seeing recognition for a business model that we have been pursuing silently, consistently, and coherently for years.
A model where:
- work is culture,
- growth is shared,
- beauty is a responsibility,
- knowledge is common heritage,
- the territory is a vital element of corporate identity,
- the company is a social engine before it is an economic one.
Olivetti taught that “the company is a community that cannot prosper unless the territory surrounding it prospers.” This thought profoundly represents us.
Looking Ahead with Solid Roots
The Adriano Olivetti Award is an invitation to continue on this path: to build beauty not only in the projects we create but in the very way we choose to be a company.
We will continue to invest in culture, training, research, territory, and people, certain that these are the ingredients for a possible and desirable future.
